Magdalena river turtle is declining for sex related medicine

Magdalena river turtle is most endangered river turtle in the religion is North Western Colombia. In recent years its population has shrunk by more than 80%. These ancient turtles 100 million years old. These turtles are critically endangered and reason behind is hunting, habitat destruction, environmental changes. Why Magdalena river turtle is declining

The basic reason of declining of this endanger species of turtle is illegally hunting.

It is a common thing in Colombia that people there catch this river turtle and eat it regardless of whether it is a cure for a disease or not. It is caught and killed and eat for sexual power increase. People in this area believe that there are factors in meat, fat and body parts that can make their sexual system stronger. Similarly, women whose has inability to offspring born, After eating its flesh, they are able to have offspring, but the Magdalena river turtle has to suffer the consequences.

That is, over time, when the erectile muscles of the male decrease in function, a large number of them fall prey to it in order to increase its activity.

On the other hand, since it is known to solve sexual problems, people catch it illegally and sell it in other areas and make money from it. 

Animal protection agencies, as well as the local government, have taken drastic measures against this destructive act, but more importantly, to save this species, people need to be made aware that don’t kill this animal for human sexual lust. the right to live. Magdalena river turtle has also right to live on earth.
